The conference titled “6th Annual Business Administration Conference: Current Issues in Business Management,” organized by the Department of Business Administration, Business Administration Master’s Program and Business Administration PhD Program of the Turkish-German University together with Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Hochschule Bielefeld), and sponsored by Siemens Türkiye and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), took place on October 24, 2025, at the Turkish-German University campus.

Opening remarks were delivered by our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, our General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu, Faculty Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaur Gasimov, and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences Faculty of Business Administration Dean Prof. Dr. Rıza Öztürk. In his speech, our Rector emphasized that dynamics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and diversity are reshaping the business world.

On May 6, 2025, we held a feedback meeting with our master's students participating in the Double Degree Program for the 2024/2025 Winter Semester.
Business and Academia Unite for Sustainability
As part of the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, the "Contemporary Issues in Business Management" course within the Master's Program in Business Management offered a comprehensive learning experience, addressing sustainability from various perspectives. The course, co-taught by Prof. Dr. Ela Sibel Bayrak Meydanoğlu and Prof. Dr. Paul Lagner, was enriched not only by theoretical foundations but also by practical examples from the business world. The Siemens Türkiye House of Sustainability team, including Gülşah Öztürk, Bige Yücel, Aslı Kunur, Hale Çakır, Erkan Noyan, Umut Pehlivan, Banu Özyalçın, and Elvan Arıksoy, participated in the lectures, contributing valuable knowledge and experience. The practical examples and case studies they shared effectively demonstrated the importance and applicability of sustainability in practice to the students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their contributions.
Business Management Students Present Market Strategy Proposal to Smart Solar Technologies
As part of the Marketing Management course led by Dr. Moritz Botts, Business Management students presented their market strategy proposal to Smart Solar Technologies (Smart Güneş Teknolojileri). The meeting was held at the invitation of the company’s Executive Chairman Mr. Halil Demirdağ, Mr. Melih Topuz, and Mr. Atakan Özbek, during which the students shared their strategic recommendations in detail.
